Moderate earthquake hits in Kyrgyzstan

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A moderate 5.7.-magnitude earthquake struck near Osh, Kyrgyzstan, on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake had a depth of 26.5 miles and hit 16 miles southeast of Osh, the second-largest city in the Central Asian republic, near the border with Uzbekistan.
