For the past eight years, the prestigious GLOBE Awards for Environmental Excellence have recognized extraordinary Canadian companies and industry groups who have managed to balance competitive business strategies with outstanding leadership in environmentally sustainable practices. 

GLOBE- (November 12, 2009) - Nominations for the 2010 Globe Awards are now being accepted.

The 2010 GLOBE Awards will be presented next March during the GLOBE 2010 Conference and Trade Fair on Business and the Environment to be held in Vancouver, BC, March 24-26, 2010.

Award categories include:

• The Corporate Award for Environmental Excellence
• The ecoFREIGHT Award for Sustainable Transportation
• The Industry Association Award for Environmental Performance
• The Award for Technology Innovation and Application
• The Award for Excellence in Emerging Technology
• The Finance Award for Sustainability
• The Award for Excellence in Urban Sustainability

Recipients of GLOBE Awards will receive extensive recognition through the GLOBE 2010 event and through our media sponsor. They will also receive prominent placement on both the GLOBE 2010 and GLOBE Awards websites.

Nomination Deadline: January 31, 2010
