ICELAND HOSTS DRIVING SUSTAINABILITY FORUM
REYKJAVIK (Aug. 25, 2010) - For the fourth consecutive year, decision makers from around the world are coming to the Driving Sustainability Conference in Reykjavik to be inspired, share ideas and create alliances. The forum, Sept. 16 to 18 at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica, is designed to foster ambitious plans, realistic solutions and sustainable projects in surface transport.
Speakers this year include world-renowned visionaries and specialists, including Chris Bangle, former Chief of Design at BMW, who will be sharing his vision for urban mobility in 2050. Among leading players in renewable energy and mobility attending the event will be representatives of Tokyo Electric Power Company; Mitsubishi Heavy Industries; Toyota Motor Europe; Tesla Motors€™ Cristiano Carlutti, Vice President of European Sales and Operations; Landsvirkjun; the CHAdeMO Association; and Paolo Salvatore, Managing Director of CIAOTECH Srl (member of PNO Group). Futurist Rohit Talwar will moderate and provide a keynote on the timeline of mobility.
This year, the event has an additional day where companies and entrepreneurs will be assisted in matching their ideas with multinational projects, available grants and funding sources.
