Over the last ten years, the oil industry has faced significant environmental challenges. A new book focuses on the environmental strategies of the oil companies. The authors set out to discover why the companies choose different strategies, and which factors influence their choices. "We found that domestic climate policy has the greatest influence on the companies' choice of strategy," says political scientist Tora Skodvin, one of the authors.
