Do you want to hone your gardening skills, and gain knowledge about the craft from some of the world's master gardeners? There's a conference you can attend in Canada this summer to do just that.

As we continue to focus on gardening in the month of April, Jerry Kay spoke to Patricia Hanbidge of the International Master Gardeners Conference:

Listen to EarthNews Radio: 2005 International Master Gardeners Conference

Hanbidge said that master gardeners from all over North America, Europe, and the rest of the world will be attending. But if you're not a master gardener, don't worry: you're welcome at the conference too. All skill levels will be represented. So its your opportunity to run elbows with some of the world's most skilled garderners. Maybe their green thumbs will rub off on you.

She said the conference would be informative for those who are just getting started, and will be a fun opportunity to socialize with others who love to garden.

The conference is being held this July 24-July 27 at the University of Saskatchewan, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, where the average daytime high temperature in late July is a near-perfect 78 degrees.
