Jerry Kay spoke to Stefan Gudmundsson, CEO of Diamante Film Inc., the maker of Diamant Food Wrap:

Gudmundsson says that for the last ten years, more people in Europe have been avoiding plastic wrap that contains a plasticizer that softens PVC. Diamant's product does not contain the plasticizer, which could leech into the food you eat causing health risks.


Switzerland has banned PVC from food wrap and Japan's grocery stores are moving away from PVC-contained food wrap as well.
