Ukrainian leader accepts liberal Tymoshenko as PM
KIEV (Reuters) - President Viktor on Thursday accepted the leader of the pro-western "orange" coalition Yulia Tymoshenko as prime minister, according to a statement from his press service.
Parliament now has to vote on her candidature. Tymoshenko's bloc and the pro-presidential Our Ukraine party have a majority of just two in the 450-seat assembly.
