Obama wins Wyoming Democratic presidential race
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Sen. Barack Obama won the Wyoming contest to choose a Democratic presidential candidate on Saturday, CNN projected, giving his campaign a boost after losses earlier in the week kept him from knocking rival Hillary Clinton out of the race.
The small-state victory added to Obama's lead over Clinton but left him far short of being able to clinch the nomination to run against Republican John McCain in the November general election. Obama and Clinton are now focused on the contests in Mississippi on Tuesday and Pennsylvania on April 22.
