WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Hillary Clinton won the Puerto Rico vote to pick a Democratic U.S. presidential candidate on Sunday, defeating front-runner Barack Obama in the biggest contest left in the race for the party's presidential nomination, U.S. media projected.
The victory did little to narrow Obama's lead in the race for elected delegates to the Democratic nominating convention in August, but it could help New York Sen. Clinton convince uncommitted delegates to back her presidential bid.
The final two Democratic nominating contests -- Montana and South Dakota -- will be held on Tuesday.
