Cheetahs are a unique and beautiful creature, one which we are in real danger of losing to extinction.Jerry Kay spoke to Laurie Marker, the founder of the Cheetah Conservation Fund: Listen to EarthNews Radio: Cheetahs in Danger

Marker says that Cheetahs don't do well in protected game reserves. Many of the animals can't live in these preserves. Cheetahs are vulnerable to predators in game reserves, and when they're pushed out of them, they come in conflict with humans.

She's traveled to Namibia to find out if there are ways that we can mitigate the sitution, and benefit both the people living in Africa as well as the Cheetah population.
