CARLSBAD, Calif. — Robert Brehm, CEO of environmental products and services company U.S. Microbics, Inc., announced that the company will soon be offering much of its product and service information on its website and printed material in both English and Spanish as it continues its effort to develop business in Mexico.

U.S. Microbics is a business development and holding company that acquires, develops and deploys environmental technologies for soil, groundwater and carbon remediation, air pollution reduction, modular drinking water systems, and agriculture enhancement. Both the development company, and its remediation subsidiary, Sub-Surface Waste Management, trade on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board. The company has gone public in order to raise funds to invest in new development.

The company has majority investments in five subsidiaries that are in the environmental remediation business. Thefive companies include Sub-Surface Waste Management,XyclonyX, West Coast Fermentation Center, Inc., Wasteline Performance Corporation, and Bio-Con Microbes, Inc.

As part of the Spanish conversion effort, U.S. Microbics will also create a new look for its website at www.bugsatwork.com and also create a new website for Sub-Surface Waste Management. In addition, the environmental educational website, www.MikeyMicrobe.com will be adding a Spanish version of its coloring book and comic book describing the importance of microbes in making the world a better place to live.

Brehm commented on the project, "We believe there is a great opportunity to help the people of Mexico clean up environmental contamination by developing the skills of in-country strategic partners on assessment, quantification and treatment of the contamination problem using our technology, project management and engineering skills. To accomplish this task we have to listen, understand, educate and communicate in the native language. We accept this challenge and have hired bilingual project managers and corporate information specialists who can help us not only add a Spanish language version to our website but also revise and simplify it so that prospects and clients as well as the public at large can read, comprehend and understand how the simplicity and effectiveness of our technology and services, with the help of local labor and resources, can make their lives better every day."

In fiscal 2004, the company's revenue was about $400,000.
