ENN's Jerry Kay spoke with Tim Wightman, a dairy farmer with Clearview Acres Farm in Wisconsin, about its "cow share" program.

Wightman says people drive up to 70 miles to get raw milk.

Clearview sells shares of cows -- customers can then go to the farm and get milk from their own cow. The farm's milk tanks are retrofitted to make it easier to get the milk out. The farm makes sure the cows are healthy and provides advice on the safe keeping of the milk in home refridgerators.

ENN reported on the benefits of raw milk in a previous story about the Westin A. Price Foundation, which studies and advocates the benefits of whole foods eaten by healthy people in native cultures.
