DALLAS — Pet Ecology Brands, Inc. announced that its Scientific Professional Cat Litter has been named one of 2005's Best New Products and has received the Pet Product News Editor's Choice Award. Pet Ecology was notified of the award at the H.H. Backer Associates 2005 Christmas Trade Show held this past weekend in Chicago.


According to Pet Product News, criteria for the award include practical, innovative and well-designed solutions to pet owners' needs. PPN's editorial board reviews thousands of new products each year in their search for outstanding new products for pets. Select products are tested and evaluated for best performance, exceptional features and distinct points of difference. The Editor's Choice Award is then presented to those products deemed best pet products of the year.
