Former Hills Bros Coffee Chairman Named Advisor to Coffee Pacifica
Las Vegas — Coffee Pacifica, Inc. announced today that Austin E. Hills, a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hills Bros Coffee, Inc. was appointed a special advisor to Coffee Pacifica. Hills will advise the Chief Executive Officer on various aspects of the coffee business, in particular concerning sales of Papua New Guinea grown green bean coffee in the United States.

Hills has an extensive career in the coffee and wine industries. He served on the board of directors of the family-run company from 1960 to 1976 with his career there culminating as Chairman. In the 1970s Hills stayed in the coffee business as President of Pacifica Coast Coffee Association, but in the mid-1970s turned toward the winery and vineyard business.
He bought and founded several vineyards and wineries in Northern California including the award-winning Grgich Hills vineyard. Hills's tenure in the vineyard business came during a transition from a time when Northern California wines had no worldwide reputation and only a domestic audience, to being considered among the very best wines in the world. California now exports about $200 million of wine each year.
Companies run by Hills include olive vineyards and a commodities brokerage firms. He serves on the board of directors of a bank, several manufacturing companies, and the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
