Dominion to spend $500 mln to cut water usage
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Dominion Resources said on Friday its Dominion New England unit would spend $500 million to reduce the amount of cooling water used by its Brayton Point Power Station.
The company said it would install a closed loop system that will reduce the water usage of the plant by 90 percent from its current 1 billion gallons per day that it draws from Mt. Hope Bay.
