SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea's constitutional court on Thursday ruled that a special counsel to probe fraud allegations against President-elect Lee Myung-bak could go ahead, although part of the process was unconstitutional.

Former Seoul mayor and construction company boss Lee has been under investigation for alleged involvement in a company which is suspected of defrauding investors.
