Tokyo Electron, Sharp to tie up in solar cells
TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's Tokyo Electron Ltd <8035.T>, the world's No. 2 maker of semiconductor equipment, said on Monday it was planning an alliance with consumer electronics and panel maker Sharp Corp <6753.T> in the solar cell market.
An announcement would come later in the day, Tokyo Electron said.
