ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - The Pakistani army's top medical officer was among several people killed in a suicide bomb attack on Monday on a busy road in the city of Rawalpindi, a government official said.

"The surgeon general was killed," said the government official who declined to be identified. Pakistani media identified the surgeon general as Lieutenant-General Mushtaq Baig.
