I wanted to explain the nature of these glitches and apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. Also, I’d like to assure you that we are making every effort to address these problems and deliver your newsletter consistently and on time, as we have for hundreds of thousands of people over the past 10 years.

In recent weeks, several technical issues have affected the delivery of the daily ENN Email Newsletter for some of our subscribers. I wanted to explain the nature of these glitches and apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. Also, I’d like to assure you that we are making every effort to address these problems and deliver your newsletter consistently and on time, as we have for hundreds of thousands of people over the past 10 years.
As readers and publishers of news and information we all experience challenges stemming from the need to control the overwhelming amounts of spam we receive. Internet service providers such as AOL are doing their part to address the issue, but in many cases newsletters like ENN’s can fall victim to the “solution” -- they get caught in spam filters and never reach their intended recipients. Recently, this has been happening to us. An additional spam-related consequence of late has been that some subscribers have received duplicate copies of the newsletter, while for others, issues have arrived days late. In short, while writing the editing the news is our great joy, actually getting the news to your inbox is becoming a challenge.
I believe that the need for a source of balanced, credible, and reliable environmental news summaries has never been greater than it is today. ENN is dedicated to being that source. We will continue to troubleshoot and resolve the newsletter delivery issues. Subscribing to our RSS feeds (http://www.enn.com/enn_rss_feeds.html) is a means of receiving our news updates while circumventing the hazards of email. And of course you can always go to ENN’s website where you will find daily content as well as archived editions of ENN News. Also, if you have experienced some of these problems there is something you can do on your end. Communicate with your ISP and let them know you want to receive content from ENN.
