Wetland Restoration



Cohen said that wetlands restoration is effective in minimizing mosquito populations if done properly because of the effect of tidal fluctuations, for instance.


PRBO is part of the San Francisco Joint Venture. The Joint Venture has among its important partners mosquito control districts in its wetland restoration effort, using environmentally-friendly methods to reduce mosquito populations.
